Switzerland july 3, 2004

Well, here I am in the Swiss Alps. Living the hard life, let me tell you. The latest destination in my ongoing european adventure is the Hotel Therme in Vals where my sister's friend Jarod invited me to join he and his friends Beth and Harold.

This after spending last week in Provence with my friend Martha where we went to Avignon (only ok) and Tarascon (totally fun) and visited a village made of ochre, a village made up of 2000 year old stone igloos, and a village carved into high cliffs. On the train back to Paris, we sat with a woman and her daughter from my hometown of Portland!

I now have four different types of currencies on my purse (US Dollars, Euros, British Pounds, and Swiss Francs) and have dealt with French, English, Dutch, and now German keyboards in addition to my japanese keyboard on my iBook.
