Household chores in England

The way most Europeans do household chores are a bit different from the way we do in America. I had to get used to hanging my clothes to dry, which it turns out makes the clothes last longer, and it is usually unnecessary to iron them. The whites stay white, and the cloth doesn't fray. The washing machines here are very high tech and usually sit in the kitchen next to the dishwasher.
