Theme Park English-style!

Alton Towers Theme Park,

Leave it to the English to create a world-class theme park on the grounds of a medieval titled estate! Alton Towers, former seat of the Earls of Shrewsbury. My favorite ride, pictured here, is called 'Air' and positions the rider into a flying position. Another ride called 'Rita' goes from 0 to 60 in 2.5 seconds. It was better than a facelift!
